Study Days cover art and design history as well as aspects of contemporary art and design practice from a critical perspective, and are aimed at a general adult audience. They offer an overview of the subject for non-specialists, and provide a foundation for more detailed study in the future.

The 'Inside Outings' strand of our Study Days programme combines site visits with discussion of related material in the Museum.

Investigate the history and production of Raphael’s celebrated tapestries, re-united for the first time in their history with the Victoria & Albert Museum’s full-size cartoons. Widely regarded as masterpieces of High Renaissance art, the tapestries were commissioned by Pope Leo X for the Sistine Chapel.
