The Victoria and Albert Museum is committed to
providing access for all its visitors, whatever their
needs. This section contains information about
programmes for the deaf and for people with
visual impairments or learning disabilities. All our
events are accessible to disabled people, with BSL
interpretation booked on request.

The Victoria and Albert Museum has established an innovative programme of touch and audio tours and drawing and photographic courses for blind and partially sighted visitors. A friend or carer can come to events and courses free of charge.

Popular talks, lectures or demonstrations are sometimes translated into British Sign Language (BSL) or are given in Sign Supported English (SSE) by deaf lecturers.
