FRENCH CONNECTION FRIDAY LATE
THE ART OF CONFESSION

Writing / debate / narrative

Friday 30 May 2008

Guest curators BAD IDEA magazine explored and celebrated the modern idea of confession, where voyeurism has replaced guilt and exhibitionism serves as absolution. Interactive exhibits, performances, celebrity authors, new media evangelicals and publishers investigated the future of personal storytelling.

Or are the literary elitists out of touch and holding back the art form? Selected panellists discussed, chaired by author Mil Millington.

Plus DJ sets by Rough Trade DJ’S Green Gartside (Scritti Politti) and Geoff Travis.
