On 26 January 2007 the V&A brightened up January with Friday Late Reflect, an evening inspired by light and all things reflective.

  • Friday Late Reflect: Events

Friday Late Reflect was the last chance to experience Volume, the luminous interactive light and sound installation in the V&A's John Madejski Garden, created by UVA and onepointsix.

Visitors witnessed choreographer Rosemary Lee's specially commissioned performance responding to Volume and marveled at the magical images created by rAndom International's Temporary Printing Machine.

James Medcraft and Nils Porrmann's video and photography installation, "Skoda Mluvit" and Jean Cocteau's Orphée were both on view.

The night marked the launch of Simon Periton's stunning new commission for the V&A tunnel entrance. Reflective influences were explored within the V&A through tours by Simon Periton, UVA and curators.

Visitors were invited to bring their own PlayStation Portable to download the exclusive content available or try one out with PSP sampling teams.

The evening also included DJ and bar.
