Free Art Fun Festival: Arabian Nights
Step onto a magic carpet and hear stories from across the Arab World; dance to traditional sounds, create funky beats and feast on Arabic food.  Explore contemporary and traditional art and design and help create a massive Arab World mural. Discover geometric patterns and shapes, and design beautiful tiles, dazzling t-shirts and much, much more.  An exciting day of family activities celebrating Arab culture.

Step back in time and space to the Middle East and a world of palaces, patterns and powerful kings. You have been invited to decorate the royal palace with tiles of geometric patterns inspired by the Arab world. Search the Museum for pattern ideas and create an exciting tile design.
