Create! Digital

Create! is a programme of workshops, courses, and free events for 11–19 year olds. There are four three-month seasons every year, each with a different theme related to the Museum's collectionsand exhibitions such as Fashion, Digital, Performance and Graphics.See below for what's on.

Booking information
Activities take place on Saturdays and during holidays. Some events are free and you can just drop-in, for others space is limited so you will need to book in advance. You can pay by credit or debit card over the phone or send a cheque made out to the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Please bring a packed lunch for the day-long workshops.
One free place is available to a carer accompanying a disabled person.

Create a portfolio of digital images, using the V&A collections as inspiration. You will learn how to use Photoshop CS4 to enhance and creatively modify your pictures.

Interactive Design

An introduction to  Arduino a physical computing platform. Learn how to use it to create simple electronic and interactive projects such as using it to hack into other devices or to control objects. All devices will remain the property of the V&A, a video of your work will be put on YouTube.

Toy Hacking

During this fun workshop learn about basic electronics and how to hack toys! Reassemble toys with electronic gadgetry to make them move, light up and more....  All hacked toys will remain the property of the V&A after the workshop, but you will get a video of your toy on YouTube.
