Trish the Witch

Trish the Witch

This book is about an environmentally friendly witch known as Trish. The brief for the illustration was to come up with a style that reflected something modern and different from the likes of Harry Potter, Hocus Pocus and The Witches of Eastwick. Large bold colours were used to define the characters and the setting, Big wide shiney eyes and friendly features were used to promote the idea of good. Less textures promoted the idea of clean and modern times. There was a large number of illustrations completed to appeal to a wider range of children's ages.
