Illustration to accompany John Crace's book review for 'The House of Silk' by Anthony Horowitz. A continuation of Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes adventures. Sherlock is depicted as haggard and a somewhat flawed character. He is also accused of the murder of a woman whilst under the influence of opium.
The next illustration is another book review (again written by John Crace) about Peter Sisson's autobiography 'Biting Back', in which he claims Paul McCartney used to pop round for tea in the 60s. I have depicted this as if Paul follows Peter everywhere, even whilst he's reading the news.
The final illustration was produced for The Times Educational Supplement. A feature about comparisons between Grammar and state funded schools.
