Journey into Alzheimer's

A stitched illustration in response to the Illy Words magazine theme of 'The Journey'. The illustration documents the changing emotions experienced by a sufferer of Alzheimer's as the disease progresses. The use of stitched threads and fraying fabric pays reference to the idea of mentally 'coming undone' or 'loosing the thread'.
