Blood Meridian

A comic created as a sequential response to a short audio excerpt from Cormac McCarthy's 'Blood Meridian", where the characters come face to face with a bear. The comic turns the excerpt on it's head by anthropomorphising the bear, revealing his home, and the process of his preparations for dinner. I hoped to highlight the unfairness of the attack put forward by the humans in the story, and to create empathy for what is seen to be the 'monster'.
