A self initiated project responding to the theme of control.

Intrigued by the nature of dreams to conceal encoded meaning within surreal narratives; I decided to tackle the broad issue of control using a similar method.

The atmospheric landscapes sit silent and still, disturbed only by the inclusion of figures that help direct attention to their hidden meaning. A man tirelessly searches within a vast and lonely landscape, a dominating presence towers over a seemingly oblivious character and a faceless person sits trapped behind branches of a tall tree. Much like a dream, the meaning sits just below the surface. It can be uncovered or ignored and valued purely on the beauty of the strange and wonderful.
