English Identity

These images were part of two personal projects which were intertwined with one another. As someone unpatriotic I set out to explore and question the clichéd symbols and absurd traditions of the English Identity, this also resulted in me looking at the superstitions which the English commonly hold. The idea was to give the images an ambivalence, much like my own feelings towards England.
