Forest

‘Forest’, a wordless picture book developed for my final project on my MA.

The narrative aim is to show the importance of the co-existence of the human and natural world. The girl (a symbol of innocence) is enticed through the forest by a flock of birds, which guide her to a strange city.

The project was a continuation of previous projects developed on my MA, where my work concentrates on creating obscure worlds that play with the ideas of scale, tone, shadow and pattern.
