This illustration was created during a Central St Martins fashion drawing summer course at Charing Cross. This piece was particularly influenced by the emotionally charged atmosphere in the building preceding the school's highly contentious move to King's Cross. As a self imagined brief, it is an illustration to a story inspired by this unprecedented move, and which uses a metaphorical set of characters (i.e. a king). The model is wearing an impromptu costume of provided clothing and accessories, including a felt crown. The pink socks, however, are the model's own.
