The Visual Editor is a project for first year Communication Art and Design students at the Royal College of Art, London. It asks students to create narratives in response to given references: This year the references were:
On the theme of Panic!
A photocopied reproduction of a portrait painting of a young woman.
Three chosen items from the Victoria & Albert Museum's collection.

Mother's Ruin is inspired by a methodist two handled cup, a ceramic of an excitable man and a Victorian woolen dress. A tale that trickles through a one night love feast riddled with gin.
