Daily Telegraph Portrait of William Harvey

Daily Telegraph Portrait of William Harvey

William Harvey speculated that the body's circulatory system must exist because of the water conduits in London. Through a slightly maniacal pursuit and the dissection of many bodies, Harvey pioneered the way in which medical science came to view blood circulation. This illustration accompanied a piece by Harvey's biographer on his scientific quest.
