The Midlife (Hangover) Curse

The Midlife (Hangover) Curse

An Illustration created for the Wall Street Journal. The health article explores the physiology of why drinking alcohol affects us more negatively as we grow older (particularly, why it seems that in your 40s you get hungover more easily than in your 20s and 30s).

I decided to draw an oversized stein glass towering over a hungover, middle aged man. A few reminders of the night before are scattered around his living room.

Cheers to your ageing Liver.
