The Blue Lenses

The Blue Lenses

Bridget Collin's illustration designed for the short story The Blue Lenses by Daphne De Maurier, plays on the concept of of distortion with the idea of reality and imagination intertwined. The protagonist in the story is forced to question the distinction between whats right what wrong as she sees people for who they really are. Its subtle use of line and colour delicately works with the theme of distortion whilst gives the juxtaposing techniques follows the idea of confusion and works with the surreal themes in the short story.
