Editorial and Overall Winner 2014, Helen Musselwhite, Illustrations for ‘Ten Myths of Creativity’ Author Audrey NiffeneggerCongratulations to the five winners of the 2014 V&A Illustration Awards who were presented with their prizes at the awards ceremony on 2 June.

This year’s published category judges were Art Director at Telegraph Media Group Gary Cochrane, Art Director at Profile Books Peter Dyer and V&A Director of Design Moira Gemmill.

Judging the student entries were illustrator and lecturer Leah Fusco, who was a Student Award winner in 2007, and designer James Nunn.

A display of the winning illustrations can be seen in the National Art Library Landing Gallery from 3 June – 2 July 2014.

The V&A Illustration Awards celebrate the best illustration published over the last year. Original artwork from the best illustrated book, book cover, editorial illustration and student illustrator of the year are recognised.
