Your dinner is in the dog…

Actually we don't have a dog, although Dobby the House Elf seems to spend an inordinate amount of time goggling images of cute pug puppies. However I am yet again in the doghouse. As you know the husband likes nothing more than pottering about in the kitchen concocting elaborate suppers and cold collations when, quite frankly, I'd be just as happy with a tub of hummus and a bag of designer crisps. ‘Daylighting the Virtual’, window installation

Semi transparent film on glass: A fragment of a physical sculpture I made, was captured using 3D software, colliding with digital weather systems. Light jet printing of the virtual copy was made for each window in the studio. Once installed, the transparent film of each drawing is illuminated by natural light, changing over time. As nighttime fell, the drawing was back lit by external street lights. The colours and the darkness of the drawing continuously changed and so too the experience when viewed.
