Another Window

April 15, 2015

I haven’t made it onto the Exhibition Road site yet, but on my wanders around the vastness of the museum I have found some vantage points. The window in the video below, which I’m told is where Liam O’Connor drew much of his work from, is on a staircase overlooking the site, beyond public access. The glass, covered in dust from the site, is also obscured by a series of horizontal safety bars. This layering of image is something I often look for in the layout of an image, which here also mimics the progressive scan of the images production.
