V&A Residents Open Studios January – March 2018

Go behind the scenes and meet our artists in residence during their Open Studios. You will have a chance to see ceramic work in progress, listen to opera rehearsals and see our collection come to life using new technologies.

Juree Kim & Neil Brownsword: V&A UK Korea Ceramic Residents are with us until the end of March. Both working side by side looking at similar issues of site, place and indigenous ceramic practice. They have regular Open Studios between 13.00 – 16.00 in their studio on level 6. Follow the link above for dates.

Silvia Weidenbach in her V&A studio

Our V&A Gilbert Collection Resident Silvia Weidenbach is based in the Sackler Centre for art education. During her residency she creating jewellery inspired by the Rosalinde and Arthur Gilbert collection. Her Open Studios are on the following dates: 13.00 – 16.00 on 19 January, 16 – 17 February and 17 March. With one evening Open Studio from 18.00 – 20.00 on 16 March.

Metta Theatre: V&A Opera Residents are based in the Sackler Centre for art education and have a number of Open Studio’s and a final performance on 23 March in our Lecture Theatre where they will perform their new opera. Please follow the below links for more information:
