Guest post by V&A blog administrator. We are very pleased to announce that the World Beach Project webpages are now live on the V&A website and we have received our first contributions including one from North America and one from continental Europe. We have been getting very excited about this idea ever since Sue first proposed it to us, we hope you will enjoy using it, looking at other peoples submissions and having a go yourselves. We would like to thank Sue and all of you for your patience while we built, tested, tweaked and bug-fixed the application and missed our dream launch date by more than a few weeks. Now the fun begins, get out there, make your stone drawings and post them back. We can’t wait to see your creativity captured and mapped across the world. Artists in Residence at the V&A
With an exciting and ever-changing programme of artists and designers, there’s never a dull moment in our residency studios. We will give you an exclusive look into what it’s like to be in residence at the world’s leading museum of art and design.
We have a thriving and exciting programme of artists in residence here at the Museum, with at least two practitioners inhabiting our studios at any given time.
Here we show the process of being an artist or designer in residence here at the V&A, with behind-the-scenes insights and stories from Residency Co-ordinator, Laura Carderera, and the artists themselves.
