The Tower of Babel – 200 days to go!

February 20, 2015

200 days to go! The Tower of Babel will open on 8 September this year.

This is an exciting time as we (amongst a million other things) finalise samples, prepare artwork, finish photography and build the website.  Soon we will be going into full production of the 3000 bone china London shops.

Through this blog I will be giving regular updates of progress and a behind the scenes look at how such a project is undertaken.  I will share pictures of models and sketches. I will also share my thoughts on the myriad of questions that this project is posing. I will be posting ‘Shop of the Day’ giving you all an insight into the sorts of shops that have made it onto the Tower.

I’d love to here from you too, what are your favourite shops? The ones you have loved and have gone, or even the ones you hate.
