With just over two weeks to go before the winners are announced, the judges of the 2015 V&A Illustration Awards have whittled down the entries from nearly a thousand to just three in each category. On the 18th of May we’ll find out the winners of the awards for:
Book Illustration, Editorial Illustration, Book Cover Design and Student Illustrator of the year.
The shortlist this year is so strong, so broad in its range of styles, techniques and subject-matter that the task of finally choosing a winner is not going to be an easy one. Our judges (all industry experts and specialists) are really going to have to make some tough choices.
The winning works will all be on display here in the V&A (Room 85 National Art Library) until the 2nd of August 2015. In the meantime, how do you think our judges will decide? Which way will it go? Have a look at the shortlist below and let us know what you think.
