Advanced notice of temporary website disruption
On Saturday 20 October 2012, the Museum will be undertaking essential work to update technical infrastructure in the building. This will affect access to some services that are delivered on the web. This work is scheduled to start at 18.00 on Saturday 20 October and be completed by 09.00 Sunday 21 October morning.
The main website will be partially available:
- The Home Page, Visit Us and exhibitions pages will be available.
- Booking tickets will be available for David Bowie is and Hollywood Costume only
- Job Opportunities will be available at www.vam.ac.uk/content/jobs/apply
- Most other pages will have text available, but many images will be unavailable
- There may be some styling and layout issues affecting the look of individual pages
- V&A blogs will be available
- The V&A Online shop will be available
The following services will be unavailable during this work:
- What’s On
- Search the Collections
- V&A Channel
- V&A email systems will be be unavailable to use to contact us
- The National Art Library Catalogue
