V&A Sound Out, was an collaborative performance for a group of voices in the museum working with artist Sharon Gal on Saturday 20 June 2015. This event was part of the programme for All of This Belongs to You, an exhibition at the intersection of design, democracy and public life.
The V&A belongs to all of us. But what does this really mean? What are the opportunities, obligations and limits to participation in this civic institution? Sound Out was an opportunity to experience the V&A in a different way. The event was created with 28 members of the public who responded to a public call out. The V&A Learning – Communities team would like to thank the generosity of the performers with their time and the support of artist Sharon Gal, muf architecture/art, Open Age, Intoart & The V&A Social.
