A couple of weeks ago our Designer Reena and I escaped the office for a day of pampering to showcase our accessories for the V&A Shop Wedding Dresses range
The brief: modeling hair accessories. We of course presumed our faces would not show in the final images and so we jumped at the chance and arrived at the studio full of enthusiasm…. #LittleDidWeKnow.
I was first in the hot seat, where Silvia our hair and make-up artist for the day began working her magic. After some time perfecting the ‘no-makeup made-up look’ and some genius artistic hair tonging to create the ‘oh so natural tousled hair’, it was the perfect time to take a #selfie and reflect on the image before me – #NotTooBad.
Next up was Reena – her motto for the day was – you only live once #YoLo
Reena is renowned for having the best/most amount of chat in our office and did not let her fellow colleagues on the shoot down. Silvia, who has worked with many celebs, confirmed Reena really is the most entertaining model she’s worked with. Perhaps the excitement got the better of her but there really wasn’t a dull moment.
Then came the shots. Cue lighting, camera in face, and feeling slightly awkward.
With the creative direction of our photographer Joaquim Baretto and Online Trading Manager Vanessa shoulders started to relax… a little.
We actually began to have quite a bit of fun looking so lovely and wearing stunning pieces by Collete Malouf and Cecile Boccara; with the help of Silvia we absolutely looked fit for the wedding season. The V&A Shop FAshion and Accesories.
