Since his arrival at Fashion East in 2005, Gareth Pugh’s arresting and mysterious collections have won the Sunderland-born designer huge critical acclaim. The V&A invited  Pugh -- who is still only in his mid-20s -- to present his creations on the Fashion in Motion catwalk in 2007.

 

Pugh's fashion vocabulary evokes the extremes of performance-art and the UK club scene and contains liberal doses of humour and drama. A striking talent.
