Fashion in Motion: Olivier Saillard
In January 2012, fashion historian and museum director Olivier Saillard staged a performance as part of the V&A’s Fashion in Motion series. The performance was notable for the absence of a collection of clothes. Rather, Saillard drew upon fashion history, interpretations of the silhouette and the significance of gestures within the context of a runway show. This film is an edited version of the full performance.
