How was it made? An agate teapot
The second of two challenges taken on Michelle Erickson – V&A ceramics resident from July to September 2012 – involved the recreation of an agate teapot from the museum’s collection. The teapot’s attractive agate stone-like swirls belie a remarkably complex process of making that Erickson demonstrates beautifully in this film
