How a Jones hat is made
A film observing the creation of a signature Stephen Jones hat in the time it takes to boil an egg
Other crafts have been transformed by the arrival of new materials and new technologies but the way that hats are made has remained largely unchanged for 200 years. This film was shot in the Covent Garden studio of Stephen Jones CBE, viewed by some fashionistas as the world's greatest milliner and co-curator of Hats: an Anthology.
It observes the skilled hands of milliner and long time Jones stalwart Deborah Miller, as she makes a signature Union Jack hat from his Spring/Summer 2005 collection
