This fun App gives you special access to Tipu's Tiger, one of the most enduringly famous and fascinating objects in the Victoria and Albert Museum.

 

 

 

You can play the Tiger's unique keyboard (as well as other sounds), and the beautiful three-dimensional model of Tipu's Tiger allows you to get closer to the object than you can in the Museum. You can easily zoom in and out, and move around the object, to see it up close and from almost any angle.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The semi-automaton moves and 'growls' as sound is pumped through its pipes. In real life, the Tiger's rotating handle pumps air through the bellows, and the organ can be played only rarely by specialists.
