Carpets, Room 97

Room 97 contains a selection of the V&A's extensive collection of carpets. These are available to be viewed by appointment. The rest of the Museum's vast and diverse collection of textiles can be found in Rooms 95 to 100. Over 5000 textiles illustrate the development of textile techniques and design over a period of 2000 years in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. A large number are available for closer inspection in a series of pull-out frames in Room 100.
