'Lower Shotover/Tucker Beach'

16 January 2012
The river was so low due to the lack of rain and we found an unusual hollow of soft grey silt sand. We decided this was the spot for our piece even though the river would eventually wash it away. We tried so hard not to disturb the lovely sand and Aurora (who loves butterflies) became an acrobat in the making! It was her choice of orange and green and those colours stood out strongly on the grey background sand.
