Celebrations of Light Flickr group

Do you have pictures of light or light used in celebrations that you can share with us?

We are looking for photographs where light is part of the celebration either at home or in a spiritual context. We want to include festivals using lights and candles at church or at Christmas, Jewish Sabbath celebrations, Hannukah lamps in use, Diwali celebrations - for example 'aarti' at home or in a temple - as well as festive street lighting. We are not looking for photos of every day electrical lights, light reflections, seaside illuminations or pictorial photographs of the sun or moon unless they are specific to faith celebrations.

Add your photographs in celebration of light to our Flickr group.

A gift in your will

You may not have thought of including a gift to a museum in your will, but the V&A is a charity and legacies form an important source of funding for our work. It is not just the great collectors and the wealthy who leave legacies to the V&A. Legacies of all sizes, large and small, make a real difference to what we can do and your support can help ensure that future generations enjoy the V&A as much as you have.
