Select a point along the interactive timeline to learn about the history of the Islamic Middle East. Starting in the 7th Century when the Prophet Muhammad died, up until the 20th Century, explore and learn all about the history of the Middle East and it's previous dynasties.
Islamic Middle East - Jigsaw Puzzle

Arrange puzzle pieces so that they are in the correct positions to recreate the picture you've chosen. When you've completed the jigsaw, you can submit your score to the leader board and see your position against other times. The one with the fastest time in each category of difficulty takes the number one spot.
Style in Islamic Art

Learn about the many different styles seen in Islamic Art throughout it's history. The timeline spans from the year 750 to 1900, and enables you to learn about all Islamic styles including Abbasid, Mamluk, Ottoman and Qajar.
Islamic Art: Picnic in the Countryside

This panel of tiles is on display in room 42. It is thought to have come from one of the palaces built in the city of Isfahan after it became the capital of Iran around 1600. The panel shows a lady of very high rank enjoying a picnic in the countryside in spring, surrounded by attendants, trees and flowers.
