Our special legacy events offer you an opportunity to learn just how important legacies are to the Museum whilst enjoying exclusive talks and behind-the-scenes tours. During a legacy event you will hear how you can make a difference by leaving a gift in your Will and the informal setting provides a chance for you to ask any questions you may have about leaving a legacy.

Previous legacy events include a tour of The Cult of Beauty with exhibition curators, a behind-the-scenes tour of our reserve collections at Blythe House and a special lecture to mark the centenary of the extraordinary George Salting bequest.

If you would like to attend our next event, please call Roger Cooper on +44 (0)20 7942 2716 or email him at legacy@vam.ac.uk

Donate to the Stained Glass Appeal

We are currently working on an exciting project to conserve and re-install the original stained glass on the landings of the Manfred and Lydia Gorvy Lecture Theatre. We need your help to raise £75,000 to bring these historical features back to their former glory for us all to enjoy.
