Life in the East End Flickr group
The Museum of Childhood website celebrates the East End of London as one of the most culturally diverse areas in Britain, a result of a long history of migration and movement. The East End Lives section of the site records the memories and life stories of people from the communities that have settled in the East End.
We would like you to share your photographs of daily life in the East End of London by posting your photos of celebrations, communities, events, family life, objects, people, places and rituals that you see or take part in.
In East End Lives, we’ve defined the East End as the London Boroughs of Hackney, Newham and Tower Hamlets so it would be helpful if you could add a tag to your photograph that says where it was taken - either hackney or newham or towerhamlets.
