Friday 9 May – Friday 16 May

Don’t miss this week-long programme of special events, offers and activities.

Members’ Week is an annual celebration highlighting the importance of V&A Membership and all it contributes to the life of the Museum. It is open to both Members and non-Members - if you are not currently a Member please join us during this week for a taster of what you could enjoy.

Now in its fifth year, Members’ Week is set to be the best yet with exclusive events including talks by Elizabeth Emanuel and Bulgari. Other highlights include an exclusive Members-only Evening focusing on Italian Fashion and a Curator Talk on the Vivien Leigh Archive. Elizabeth Emanuel has also designed this years exclusive canvas bag (pictured).

A host of other activities will also be taking place, such as artist demonstrations in the Members’ Room, a classical music concert in the Norfolk House Music Room and an Open Studio with the V&A’s resident ceramicist.

If you are a V&A Member, visit the Museum during this week to enjoy a free scone and to pick up your free canvas bag. See page 86 of your spring 2014 issue of the V&A Magazine for your scone voucher and further details about Members’ Week.

A gift in your will

You may not have thought of including a gift to a museum in your will, but the V&A is a charity and legacies form an important source of funding for our work. It is not just the great collectors and the wealthy who leave legacies to the V&A. Legacies of all sizes, large and small, make a real difference to what we can do and your support can help ensure that future generations enjoy the V&A as much as you have.
