The Curtain Foundation Gallery
The Ceramic Study Galleries house the greater part of the V&A’s ceramics collection. In this room you will find British and European porcelain, and pottery made after 1800. Introductory displays in the wall cases are arranged by place of origin, technique, and date. The visible storage display in the centre of the gallery contains the bulk of the collection, arranged according to the same principles as the wall cases.
Room 139 is on Level 6 of the V&A South Kensington.
