Colour Trail
Does Ultramarine blue paint really come from Afghan stones? Is cochineal really made from ground up beetles? Explore the British Galleries and discover the hidden depths of the best bed hangings, painted and patterned cloth, blue stockings and green jugs.
Drawing Kit
Get your creative juices flowing as you look more closely at the objects and develop your sketching skills. The kit includes a variety of papers and drawing materials as well as full instructions.
Writing Kit
Start off in new directions around the V&A, looking at objects and galleries and exploring them with words. The kit is suitable whatever your writing experience. It includes paper, pens and clipboard, plus full instructions.

Ballgowns: British Glamour Since 1950
From 19 May 2012 the V&A celebrates the opening of the newly renovated Fashion Galleries with an exhibition of beautiful ballgowns, red carpet evening dresses and catwalk showstoppers.
