The SurveNIR aim is to develop an instrument to help obtain the necessary information about a paper artefact without using chemicals and without sampling.
Conservation of a Jewelled Bouquet

The V&A houses one of the world's greatest jewellery galleries, with over 4000 objects spanning from Ancient Egypt to the present. One surviving piece is an enamelled and jewelled bouquet, dated between 1780 and 1800.
Glazed terracotta roundels by Luca della Robbia: conservation issues

The conservation of twelve glazed terracotta roundels depicting the twelve labours of the year, ascribed to Luca della Robbia, has been an ongoing project for the sculpture studio at the V&A.
