The ERCG is made up of 15 national and international cultural and educational organisations, along with two local councils. It champions the collective view of the area and represents the combined institutions in the development of the Exhibition Road Scheme and in national projects. It facilitates joint projects, encourages cross fertilisation of audiences between institutions; running joint events in the shared public space of Exhibition Road; and sharing staff expertise. Among it's projects is the yearly Exhibition Road Music Day, a unique free festival of live music for everyone.
