This tapestry was used in the poster for Lynne's solo exhibition, The Hidden Heart, at The Burrell Collection, Glasgow in 1996.

As in mediaeval tapestries, Lynne uses symbolism, often in the form of fruit or flowers and plants to evoke layers of meaning.  

Images of hearts are clearly visible in the border and in the shape of the strawberries; and perhaps less obviously in the wrought iron seat, the cut of the women's dress and even the position the couple are adopting.
