Inspired by the mediaeval tapestries at the Burrell, Lynne says:

"My designs come from a sketch book which I use as a visual diary. It is a collection of scraps and scribbles which note down everyday imagery and fugitive thoughts, sometimes drawing from life, and sometimes from my imagination and always styalising the image to try to express the things that you cannot see to draw"
