'When I am not working on my art and making paper jewellery, I work in a department store and unpack lots of boxes. One day I noticed the edges and thought it would be an interesting experiment to cut thin slices of the cardboard and then glue them together to see the effect. I liked the filigree look that resulted so I then bounded it with wire to create a more interesting shape, strengthen it and make a closure. The bracelet was then sealed with varnish for added durability.'
