'With a background in professional theatre, language finds its way into my jewellery. I was thinking about the comma as a form, as well as the potential it represents within a sentence to pause, consider, change emphasis, and therefore meaning. I started a series of comma shaped brooches, which reveal additional layers of meaning through the choice of materials and titles.'

'Green Comma was created using various found bits and pieces I've collected over the years. Pause, consider what 'Green' represents today, ironically, changing our emphasis from consumerism to 'reuserism' is extremely urgent.'
