Silver
One of a pair of salvers made for Algernon Coote, 6th Earl of Mountrath. The vines and grapes are appropriate decoration for salvers used to serve wine to dinner guests. The ornamental engraving is similar to that found on silver marked by de Lamerie's contemporary George Wickes. Lion mask feet recur on de Lamerie's silver from 1737 to 1745.
