From his studio practice in the Netherlands, Daan Roosegaarde creates interactive and responsive installations that explore the dynamic relation between architecture, people and technology. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts AKI in Enschede and received an MA at the Berlage Institute Postgraduate Laboratory of Architecture in Rotterdam. Roosegaarde exhibits internationally. His work has been shown at Tate Modern, YCAM Japan, the National Art Center, Tokyo, and the Venice Biennale 2009.
Flow 5.0 is situated in the South Kensington Tunnel entrance to the V&A.
